Caring and Sharing supported this clinic for 24 years. Each year about 5000 malaria patients were treated, and from its opening 26 years ago over 650,000 patients were helped. The clinic was singled out by the Sudanese government for its excellence.
Unfortunately Sundous, the director, retired at the end of September 2009 and the clinic was closed by the Sudanese authorities. Tthe project is therefore now closed.
